Dance / Movement

Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop, at www.trokanski.com, offering ballet, contemporary, jazz, yoga, tai chi, zumba, and more for people of all ages.  There are three companies associated with the Workshop:  the Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre, The Third Stage (a multigenerational company), and the Apprentice Company, for young dancers.)

Chiropractic

Dr. Richard Naval, 635 Anderson Road, Suite 5, Davis, CA.  (530) 759-9007 has recently retired, and Dr. Kocsis has taken over his practice, which is now "Movement Base: Chiropractic & Sports Therapy."  There is no website, but his phone number is (530) 759-9007.

GoodLife Chiropractic in Davis is also very good.  Website:  http://www.thegoodlifedavis.com.

Veterinary Services

Dr. Lynn Hendrix-Chupa,  of www.BelovedPetMobilevet.com.  She is an extraordinary veterinarian who will come to your house, saving your pet the stress of a car trip to an office.  Her specialty is hospice care and if necessary, in-home euthanasia.  I used her services when my elderly cat became terminally ill in 2013. She made a difficult process bearable and was incredibly calm, focused and grounded at the last visit.  A lot of people I know have utilized her services, and can't praise her highly enough.  The perfect veterinarian and person to help you and your pet through difficult times.

Financial Services

Linda Matthew, of  www.moneymindful.org.   She has an extensive background in math and data analysis, and is trained in counseling to help her clients better manage their money.  She takes a positive approach to client education on how to work successfully with budget and finances, while also addressing the emotional components around money.  Clients need not be in crisis to benefit; it's a good idea to have someone who is objective and informed take a look at your overall financial health from time to time.
