REIKI CLASSES

INTRODUCTION TO REIKI $65
This class is done over Zoom and is an introduction to Reiki, meditation, energywork and the chakras.
We'll cover:
- The Chakra System and tree of life grounding meditation
- Boysen scanning
- Self-healing Reiki meditation and hand positions, with useful acupressure points
- Developing spiritual and mental focus using the Five Precepts
- The Reiki meditation techniques of Kenyoku Ho, Joshin Kokyu Ho and Seishin Toitsu
- Class handouts in pdf format
We will also include a brief non-local Reiki session. Class runs about two hours, depending on number of participants (minimum of 3 for the class to happen.)
REIKI LEVEL I: SHODEN $300
This class lays the foundation for your personal practice with Reiki, and is the first step in learning how to access Reiki for self-treatment and how to share it with family and friends. This class is held in-person because it includes attunement to the first symbol.
We'll cover:
- Review of the Five Precepts and meditation techniques
- Symbol 1 (instruction, chanting, drawing and attunement)
- Hands-on practice (seated) for friends and family, and review of Self-Healing Reiki
Class runs about six hours, for two days, depending on the number of participants (minimum of 4 for the class to happen). If I rent a space for the class, the cost will increase accordingly. Ideally, it could be held in a student's home. (Manual is included in the cost of the class.)
REIKI LEVEL II: OKUDEN $300
This class is best done in person, because it includes attunements to four symbols.
We'll cover:
- Review of the Five Precepts
- Meditation techniques
- Review of Symbol 1, and instruction, mantra, changing, drawing and attunements for Symbols 2 and 3
- Hands-on Reiki - how to do treatments for clients and legal/business issues
- Reiki as a system for spiritual and intuitive development
Class runs about six hours, for two days, depending on the number of participants (minimum of 4 required). If I rent a space, the cost will increase accordingly. Ideally, it could be held in a student's home. The manual is included in the cost of the class.
